Now is the time to start mulching there are so many different types of mulches / soil conditioners & they do all round of different thing you will notice that under mulching which is under lawn & garden supplies all different type of mulches while I do not yet have any picture I have started using a new soil conditioner which is very fine I also still use the Jefferies mulches & the good old wood chip type mulches which are very popularly I also have been using the Adelaide City council mulches as well which you will fine at there nursery I do not have Pictures of them yet. With mulch comes fertlising that to is important some mulches do this Job I have always tended towards them as they not just hold moisture in but feed the soil.
